Mrs. Gwynn Geohaghan Johnson is an award-winning international Master Stylist. In the beauty industry, she is known for her original design concepts, mirroring her high-energy, innovative, and unmatched style. She believes hair styling is an art. Her passion dates back to when, as a teen, she was inspired and intrigued by her older sister’s hairstyles, which she saw embodied freedom and creativity. As a result, Gwynn pursued her dream of becoming a stylist and received her cosmetology license in 2007. After which, she became the lead stylist and manager to a diverse clientele at Destiny De’ve in the nation’s capital, the mecca— Washington, D.C. After five years in a traditional salon environment, Gwynn founded Go By Geohaghan, LLC in 2013; a state-of-the-art mobile hair salon where hairstyling magic is created, maintained, and updated at the client’s convenience in the Washington Metropolitan area. In addition to the plethora of accomplishments that Gwynn has achieved, this trailblazing artist is also equally as passionate about philanthropy. She has been actively involved in her community and she’s selflessly donates her time and efforts on the frontlines to programs and initiatives to uplift young girls and women, such as the Women’s Empowerment Network’s “Dress for Success,” and the “Look Good, Feel Better” program for women battling cancer. In 2018 Gwynn decided she wanted to use her talents to have an even greater have impact on the community, therefore, founded, Gwynning Your Way To Prom, a project created to sponsor wonderful young teens way to prom.
