Gwynn Geohaghan Johnson is well-known in the beauty industry for her original design concepts that mirror her high-energy, innovation and unmatched style. Her passion for hairstyling dates back to when, as a teen, she was inspired and intrigued by her older sister’s hairstyles that embodied freedom and creativity.

Gwynn launched and honed her career at a salon in suburban Maryland. As she continued to develop her styling skills and business acumen, she eventually became the lead stylist and manager to a diverse clientele at Destiny De’ve in the hipster mecca of Washington, D.C., Columbia Heights.

After five years in a traditional salon environment, Gwynn founded Go By Geohaghan in 2013; a state of the art mobile hair salon, where hairstyling magic is created, maintained and updated at the client’s convenience in the Washington Metropolitan area.

Gwynn is equally as passionate about philanthropy. She is actively involved in her community and unselfishly donates her time and efforts to programs and initiatives such as the Women’s Empowerment Network’s “Dress for Success” and the “Look Good, Feel Better” program for women battling cancer.

Select accomplishments in Gwynn’s career include:

• Styling veterans at the White House for USAA magazine feature photo shoot with the First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama,
• Multiple jobs styling contestants of The X-Factor USA, a music competition created by Simon Cowell, and the platinum-selling Fifth Harmony, a five-member girl group created on the second season of The X Factor USA.
• Styling Markette Sheppard co-host of Great Day Washington on the CBS station in Washington, DC WUSA 9 and the May 2016 issue of MOST magazine.

Gwynn is thankful to have spent over a decade in an industry that has allowed her to realize her desire to simultaneously enrich and uplift clients by helping them look and feel their best!
